Custom Labels

Turn a quality blank into something that feels like your own.

Custom labels are a simple way to give apparel a more considered, branded finish. We offer multiple labelling options depending on your quantity, budget and desired result, from printed internal neck labels through to fully custom woven labels.

Our team can also handle the entire garment relabelling process in-house, removing existing manufacturer tags and replacing them with your new branding ready for the finished product.

Choose the right label

Digital Printed Labels

A flexible option for smaller quantities, Digital print allows us to apply detailed, full-colour branding directly to the inside neck of a garment.

Because each transfer can contain different artwork, we can easily accommodate individual size variations without requiring separate production runs for each size.

Best suited to smaller runs, multiple sizes and detailed or full-colour artwork.

Screen Printed Labels

For larger quantities, internal neck labels can be screen printed directly onto the garment after the original manufacturer's tag has been removed.

Screen printing is particularly effective for simple artwork and becomes more economical as quantities increase. Our standard minimum for screen printed labels is 25 units.

Woven Labels

For a more traditional retail finish, we can produce fully custom woven labels in a range of constructions including flat, centre-fold, end-fold, hem and neck labels.

The construction, dimensions and application are determined by the garment and desired finish. Custom woven labels generally start from approximately 150 units with a minimum lead time of around four weeks.

Garment relabelling

We can take care of the physical relabelling process in-house, from removing the manufacturer's existing tag through to applying the new label.

For DTF and screen printed labels, the original neck tag can be removed before the new branding is applied directly to the garment. Woven labels can be sewn into the appropriate position depending on the construction of the product and desired finish.

Each garment is different, so we'll assess the existing label construction and recommend the cleanest approach before production.

One brand label. Multiple sizes.

Producing a different woven label for every garment size can quickly increase quantities and cost. With woven label minimums typically starting around 150 units, producing separate S, M, L and XL designs could mean ordering 600 labels before you've decorated a single garment.

Instead, we can produce one universal woven brand label and apply a separate size tag alongside it. We stock standard size labels in-house, allowing the same branded woven label to be used across your entire size range without unnecessarily increasing label quantities.

Finishing touches

For projects that need additional retail finishing, we can also help source complementary elements such as custom swing tags, care labels and packaging through our supplier network.

These are sourced specifically for each project and quoted separately depending on the product, quantity and requirements.

Custom Label FAQs

Which type of label should I choose?

It depends on your quantity, artwork and desired finish. DTF works particularly well for smaller runs and variable sizes, screen printing becomes more economical at higher quantities, while woven labels offer a more traditional sewn-in retail finish. We'll recommend the most appropriate option for your project.

What is the minimum order?

DTF offers the most flexibility for smaller quantities. Screen printed labels generally start from 25 units, while custom woven labels typically require a minimum of approximately 150 labels per design.

How long do custom labels take?

DTF and screen printed labels can generally be produced alongside the wider apparel order. Custom woven labels require manufacturing and typically have a minimum lead time of around four weeks.

Can you remove the existing manufacturer's label?

Yes. We offer in-house relabelling and can remove existing garment tags before applying your new printed or woven label. The exact process depends on how the original garment has been constructed.

Can every size have a different printed label?

Yes. DTF is particularly useful for this because individual transfers can contain different size information without requiring a completely separate production setup for each size.

Do I need a different woven label for every size?

Not necessarily. We often recommend keeping the main woven brand label consistent and applying a separate size tag. This avoids having to meet the woven-label minimum for every individual size.

Can you create custom size labels as well?

Yes. We keep standard size labels available in-house, or custom size labels can be sourced if you want them designed specifically for your brand. Custom options will involve additional production costs and minimum quantities.

Can you supply swing tags and packaging too?

Yes. While these aren't produced in-house, we can source custom swing tags, care labels, packaging and other finishing elements through our supplier network and incorporate them into the wider project.
