How to Prepare Your Design:
At Bottega, we want to make sure that your designs are ready for printing. To ensure the highest quality results, we require that all files be at least 300DPI (Dots Per Inch) or in vector format for screen printing. We recommend using Adobe Illustrator or another vector-based software to create your design. If your design requires halftones, please allow us to handle that process to ensure the best quality.Preferred File Types:
We accept various file types, including Illustrator, Vector, Photoshop, PDF, JPEG, and TIFF. We prefer AI or EPS files because they can be scaled without losing quality. PSD and PDF files are acceptable, while JPG files are not preferred. We will consult with you with what we think is the best print method to suit your design.Sizing Your Design:
When sizing your design, make sure it is the size you want it to appear on the shirt, not just the size of the background of your design file. You can use one of our t-shirt templates to help with this process. Also, be sure to convert all text to outlines to avoid font issues. The size of the print remains the same throughout the whole size run! So take this into consideration when deciding what size you should make your graphic and how it may look on different people. Please note that our maximum print dimensions are 40 cm x 45 cm.Colour Matching:
Lastly, we provide free Pantone colour matching for your garments, but we recommend purchasing a Pantone Plus Series Solid Coated Formula Guide for the most accurate colour representation or you’re more than welcome to use ours! Pantone Colour ChartWe are a design + print & makers studio.
You think it, we make it.
